This vintage brass belt buckle features three wild horses struck in high relief, the surround is very similar to the stock Civil War types that were produced in Europe. It has embossed around the buckle the words 7th cavalry rough rider. It has a brass finish and is marked "Manufactured by J Purdy, Oxford St, London W, England".
This is a plate style belt buckle with a bar and prong back. This is a 1970's reproduction of a Civil War style belt buckle. It is brass plated rather than solid brass but it has some weight to it.
